Access Control
StageChain provides event organizers with a powerful access control module, enabling full operational oversight and real-time responsiveness. Organizers configure attendance workflows directly through the Back Office, including the confirmation window that requires ticket holders to verify their attendance prior to the event. This window, typically set between 24 to 72 hours before entry, is fully customizable per event. Confirmations help generate accurate attendance forecasts and allow organizers to identify unused tickets in advance. If a ticket remains unconfirmed by the deadline, it is automatically flagged for redistribution through a last-minute sales channel. This ensures maximum occupancy and minimizes revenue loss. All rules governing confirmations, resale timing, compensation models, and pricing are defined by the organizer and executed automatically via smart contracts. The system delivers real-time crowd monitoring and capacity tracking. Mobile alerts notify organizers when traffic thresholds are met at the venue or within specific zones, allowing for proactive crowd management. Access validation is performed via barcode and NFC scanning, compatible with turnstiles, PDAs, and smartphones. Advanced features such as rotating QR codes help prevent screenshot-based fraud, while NFC-enabled scanning supports high-speed entry during peak traffic. Tickets can also be configured to permit access to specific venue areas for defined time periods. This enables granular control for premium lounges, exhibitions, or timed sessions. Real-time reports compare booking data with actual check-ins, highlight crowd flow patterns, and offer behavioral insights. Organizers can act immediately by dispatching staff, adjusting schedules, or temporarily restricting access to manage foot traffic and improve attendee experience.
